We were asked to create a radiator cover and mirror for a small and dark space at the top of some stairs in a little seaside cottage. We created a nautical themed radiator cover to match the décor of the rest of the house. Instead of making a regular mirror frame, we designed a window frame and ledge, replacing the glass with a mirror to make it feel like there was space beyond and to reflect the light of the surrounding area. It gave the illusion of a much larger and brighter space.

We also created a beside table and chest of drawers for a very small bedroom at the cottage. Due to it being an old house, the walls and floor were not very square. We therefore built the customer leaning-units, so they could sit flush against the wall. The chest of drawers was designed to fit behind the bedroom door and utilise the previously wasted space.
